"We prioritize quality, durability, and timeless designs that will be around more than a season."
Blake Kuwahara
Sustainability Practices
The Blake Kuwahara team uses minimal packaging as well as packing materials that are more easily and quickly recycled. Their goal is to avoid unnecessary collateral materials like counter cards and catalogs which quickly become out of date.
Blake’s position on sustainability has more to do with reducing unnecessary consumption. Personally, he is a big fan of vintage and loves combing flea markets for secondhand clothing and accessories. A lot of our shop furniture and decor at Together Again is also gleaned from a variety of antique markets or thrifted from other people looking to pass along something beautiful that they no longer need.
For his eyewear, Blake prioritizes quality, durability, and timeless designs that will be around for more than a season. Carefully crafted eyewear with premium materials and components means that these frames are designed to last. Even final production processes like using proprietary polishing compounds and techniques keep their frames looking better longer as well as reducing the need to unnecessarily replace them.
Small Batch Production
At Together Again Eyewear, we believe that investing in quality handcrafted eyewear - that is not mass-produced - is a sustainable practice. Small batch production keeps waste minimal. Our goal is to provide frames that will last a very long time and that once in a while, there is the opportunity to add to one’s collection instead of replacing a frame that is falling apart. Come check out Blake Kuwahara and all of our other collections too!
