Guelph to Paris: Together Again Eyewear Attend Optical Trade Show
Sustainability & Masunaga
Masunaga is proud to say that their approach to sustainability is about creating products that stand the test of time both in style and in function. This philosophy helps reduce waste and promotes a more sustainable consumption pattern in the eyewear industry.
Sustainability & Bruno Chaussignand
For the last two years, Bruno and Marina have cut down on their production quantities to reduce waste and they keep their unused stock to a minimum. They often use old acetate stock. 80% of their product is manufactured in France and the factories are within a three-hour radius of their office and their materials are sourced from directly around them. The few materials they bring in from further away come from Germany and Italy which are still pretty close.
Sustainability & Vinylize
Every year the team at Vinylize recycles about three tons of vinyl. They use upcycled vinyl for their frame fronts, in combination with an acetate backing and temples. The vinyl used in the production process is either old, mispressed or unsold stock.
Sustainability & Blake Kuwahara
For his eyewear, Blake prioritizes quality, durability, and timeless designs that will be around for more than a season. Carefully crafted eyewear with premium materials and components means that these frames are designed to last.
